Description and Services
Description (Service) An inviting complex of heritage buildings, gardens and parkland. Reverend William Macaulay was the first rector of old St. Mary Magdalene Church, built in 1823. The building now houses rotating exhibits, highlighting the history of Prince Edward County. The House has been restored to the 1850's period and provides visitors with a taste of nineteenth century life. Costumed interpreters relate stories of the Macaulay family and their times. Rooms are available for rentals/catered events. Gift shop on site. Inquire about special events and education programs.
Hours Open Wed-Sun 9:30 am-4:30 pm 
Operating Season: Mid-May-Aug (Open only on weekends in September) 
Gallows * Graveyards Walking Tours on Fri Evenings, July-August 
Tours can be arranged in the off-season. 
Open during the Christmas Season as advertised.
Meetings Available for select gatherings. Catering can be provided. Grounds available for larger functions.
