Description (Service) Bayside Public School is a large suburban elementary school located in Sidney Township in Quinte West. Student population numbers approximately 600+ students. They are the French Immersion centre for the southern tier of Hastings County. This creates a varied student body with high expectations of a quality educational experience. Bayside Public School shares a campus with Bayside Secondary School. This campus includes a significant expanse of wilderness area and has been reported as the largest elementary school campus in Canada. The students are taught in three separate buildings. The main building houses junior and senior kindergarten, grades 4 to 7; the "Annex", the original Bayside Public School dating back to the nineteenth century is home to grades 1, 2, and 3; and the grade 8 students have an area in Bayside Secondary School.
