| Description (Service) | The facilities include the Marilyn Adams museum *library and reading area * research department * publications department *microfilm reading room * Microfilming Lab and the Hastings County Land Records repository of original documents. The centre is equipped with archival shelving * modern customer-accessible computers * microfilm and fiche readers * photocopiers * and microfilming equipment. ANCESTRY is available for your research. The Library holds over 2000 Genealogies *l000's of Obituaries * Women's Institute and Tweedsmuir Records on paper and micro film. Victoria Cross and Hessian Records. Hundreds of Books on Counties, Towns, and Churches from Ontario and across Canada as well as other Countries. Databases containing over two and one quarter million names. Other Genealogical Resources from across North America and and from many other parts of the world. |
