Description and Services
Description (Service) The Belleville Choral Society (BCS) is a community choir where singers of all ages have the opportunity to hone their musical skills. The choir consists of professional and amateur musicians of diverse backgrounds, performing choral literature from all musical periods. The BCS regularly collaborates with other vocalists and instrumentalists to present music ranging from classical to contemporary and includes both sacred and secular repertoire. As part of its community outreach, an annual scholarship is offered to eligible students pursuing post-secondary education in vocal music.
Hours Fall/winter session- Rehearsals commence the Monday after Labour Day and continue weekly through to our Christmas Concert. 
After our Christmas performance, we break for holidays. Rehearsals resume the Monday after New Year's Day and continue until our Spring concert (April, May). Rehearsal time 6:45 pm to 9 pm.
Dates We perform a minimum of two concerts per year.

Eligibility Ages: 13 year(s) and up 
 
We welcome singers of all ages. The ability to sightread is not required.
Application A placement session with the director to determine the applicant's choral range.
