Description (Service) | Comprehensive employment and job search services * assessment of skills, interests and experience * job search strategies, including resume preparation * information about careers and occupations, local labour market, employment and training opportunities * on-the-job training, work experience * help in maintaining employment * information and referral to other employment and community services
Youth Job Link – youth-focused career exploration and career management workshops * job search, readiness and matching assistance for year-round part-time or summer jobs Youth Job Connection - this program provides access to employability and employment skills development, along with education/training and work experiences. The goal is to achieve long-term employment, meaningful careers, and success in your future working lives. Employing Young Talent Initiative - The Employing Young Talent Incentive supports small business to hire and retain assisted service participants between the ages of 15-29. Eligible employers will receive a $1,000 incentive when they hire an assisted service youth and a $1,000 incentive for retaining the employee for 6 months |
