Description and Services
Description (Service) Support groups help to reduce anxiety and help with feelings of loss of control, fear of the unknown, changes in family roles, and financial strain * provide reassurance from others who have already traveled the road *offer practical information to help in making informed decisions about treatment options * enhance and strengthen coping skills * provide a unique social network that may reduce feelings of isolation and reinforce a positive, hopeful attitude
Hours 2nd Wed of each month: 7:30 pm-9 pm 
**No meetings in July and August**
Areas Served Hastings County ; Lennox and Addington County ; Northumberland County ; Prince Edward County ; Patient does not need to be present to receive support
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
Adults with brain tumours and their family members/supports.
Application Drop-in; new members will be asked to complete a registration form at their first meeting
