|Description (Service)||SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together)® Seniors group exercise classes are an hour in length. Class consists of low impact aerobics, balance, strength and flexibility training. Exercise classes lead by trained senior fitness instructors.
The Exercise and Falls Prevention Program is a 12 week program for Seniors including education and exercise to prevent falls. The education includes a new topic each week and exercises focused on aerobics, lower body strength, balance and flexibility. Classes are led by trained and registered health care professionals.
Participants are screened and assessed to ensure safe partaking in exercise. Anyone can participate whether from a chair, using and aid or moving independently.
