Description (Service) Community based support promotes the choice of living independently in the community of choice * including those living in an apartment, condominium, duplex, single family dwelling either on their own, or with a roommate or partner * support focuses on enhancing or developing the person’s ability to live as independently as possible  
Skill development includes: * budgeting * home maintenance * grocery shopping * social and relationship building * community networking * advocacy and rights * healthy living choices and other aspects of daily living
