Description (Service) Nursery school following the guidelines of the Headstart program for pre-school children * promotes development in areas including language acquisition, problem-solving skills, school readiness, self-regulation, socialization, healthy physical and cognitive development and greater self-esteem through first-hand experiences and opportunities which promote active learning * speech/language pathologist consultation, assessment and referral * two nutritious and hearty meals and snacks to which dietary restrictions/allergies are adhered to

For help applying for a subsidy, please call or stop by a Headstart program in your neighborhood, call 3-1-1 or go to a City of Ottawa Client Service Centre. * Fee assistance available for those who meet the criteria ; assistance is provided by the City of Ottawa.
