Description and Services
Description (Service) Peer-run group helping men, including those living in social isolation, for ex. after retirement * offering a gathering place, involving a work space in which men get together, stay productive and do projects to benefit the community 
 
Current projects include: building bat houses for the Canadian Wildlife Federation * making walking sticks and mini hockey sticks for the Christian Farmers * making wooden toys for fundraising and donation to Toy Mountain and local charities 
 
Independent organization, no strings attached * inclusive and respectful * other locations in Eastern Ontario: Almonte, Arnprior and Perth
Sup. Description Men's Sheds started in Australia where it has about 900 member sheds today. The movement has spread to New Zealand, Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, the United States and Canada. Learn more at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men%27s_shed
