Companionship and physical assistance to attend medical appointments, social outings and assistance with weekly errands. Drivers are retired professionals who have experience working with the elderly and frail, including people with dementia. All of the staff have cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/First-Aid, automated external defibrillator (AED) certification, cleared a records check with the Ottawa Police for working with vulnerable individuals, and clean driver abstracts issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
