Description (Service) COVID-19 (24 Apr 2020): Effective Monday, March 16th 2020, all one-on-one Coaching appointments will be held either by phone or online through the secure NexJ Platform that clients have access to * Cancer Coaches and Coaching staff will reach out via phone or email as soon as possible to let clients know about these changes * if client has questions about their Coaching appointment, call 613-247-3527 * new clients wanting to access a Cancer Coach can register on their website at * a first appointment by telephone or secure video chat can be arranged * Group Cancer Coaching programs like Yoga Thrive and CLIMB will be postponed until further notice * appointments for additional care services such as Reiki and the Infrared Sauna will be cancelled until further notice

Cancer coaching focuses on physical, informational, emotional, and spiritual needs * helps patients and their family meet the challenges of cancer, achieve their goals and improve their health

Services: Information about cancer, treatment, managing side effects, the transition into post treatment life, managing work related issues * lifestyle changes; physical activity, nutrition, weight change, decreasing smoking, decreasing alcohol use * connecting to resources * managing social/family relationships * sexuality, intimacy, fertility * fatigue, sleep, energy * stress, mood, emotions, isolation * finances, legal * spirituality, faith, meaning, purpose of life * caregiver support * support for children/youth coping with cancer in the family * grief and Bereavement

Languages English - coaching ; French - coaching ; Interpretive Services - an interpreter can be brought in for coaching sessions upon request
