Description (Service) Short-term structured program for males (at the time of offense), who have been detained by a court order or ordered to serve a disposition of open custody and open detention. 
Case management plan is developed for each youth, and includes: regular schooling within the unit * life skills training * assessment of skills and strengths * counselling * case conferences to determine planning for discharge. * Youth also participate in a social skills and life skills programming which includes sessions on addictions * sexuality * self-esteem * anger management * job search * financial literacy * goal setting * problem solving *  
Open residence. It has two purposes: 
* Open Custody Facility, for youth ordered to serve a disposition under the Youth Criminal Justice Act 
* Place of Detention, for youth temporarily detained by the court
