Description (Service) | One of 11 laboratories across the province, offering these services: * Clinical and environmental testing * Clinical consultation * Technical and customer service support * Education and training programs for laboratory professionals * Evaluation of new laboratory technologies and methodologies To prepare for and respond to emergencies, our team: * Provides laboratory surveillance * Tests for bioterrorism * Investigates outbreaks * Supports and contributes resources to incident management Water testing: Performs potability tests of well water for individual residents in Ontario only. These tests only measure coliform and E. coli. The resident must pick up a special kit at the lab or at a Public Health Unit. Other tests available |
