Description (Service) Services and activities include for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS): Information and referral * educational program for health professionals * public education * medical equipment loans program * support group meetings for patients and their caregivers * guest speakers provide insight and information on various topics of interest.  
Also provides an opportunity for patients and caregivers to socialize and help each other by sharing ideas and experiences.
Hours Office hours Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Areas Served Frontenac County ; Hastings County ; Lanark County ; Leeds and Grenville United Counties ; Lennox and Addington County ; Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Prince Edward County ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease, patients are automatically members
Application Registration with the Society is normally done at the time of diagnosis
