Description and Services
Description (Service) Services for young offenders 
 
* Community Support Team: provides individualized community-based counselling services to youth and their families. 
* Intensive Support Supervision Program: intensive and comprehensive community based treatment program.  
* A Different Street: community-based residential treatment program 
* St. John Bosco Achievement Center: ducational program for youth that have struggled in a regular school setting and cannot for various reasons, attend mainstream or alternative programs 
* Youth in Transition Worker: supports youth in their successful transition out of the child welfare system into adulthood 
* Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Parent Group Therapy: eight session program run by trained facilitators certified in CPS 
* Supporting Families Program: community based intervention to youth involved in gang activities and adheres to a holistic service model that includes incorporating families into the service planning 
* On Point Program: Gang Prevention and Intervention services, community based counselling and supports to youth who are involved in or vulnerable to gangs * delivered in partnership with the John Howard Society of Ottawa 
* Next Chapter Program: community based specialized supports and services for young people who are vulnerable to or survivors of human trafficking
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Fri 8:30 am-3:30 pm * after hours emergency services
Areas Served Ottawa (City of) ; Prescott and Russell United Counties ; Renfrew County ; Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties
Eligibility * Community Service Team: 12-17 year old male and female youth in conflict with the law who are serving a custody disposition or on probation and at high risk of offending again in the community 
* Intensive Support Supervision Program: high-risk young persons presenting mental health and justice issues 
* A Different Street: young maless 16-20 years old who have been recently released from custody and who are homeless 
* St. John Bosco Achievement Center: Youth who are already in Intensive Support Supervision Program, Community Service Team and A Different Street program 
* Youth in Transition Program: youth 16-24 years old 
* Supporting Families: youth 12-20 years old 
* Gang Prevention/Intervention Program: youth 12-20 years old 
* Next Chapter Program: youth 12-25 years old
Application Clients are referred by Courts and Probation Services * some programs receive referrals from any source, including youth self-referral
