Description and Services
Description (Service) COVID-19 (27 April 2020): Carebridge is collaborating with local Your Independent Grocers stores in Almonte, Carleton Place, and Perth to deliver groceries to seniors and those at-risk. Residents can call the grocery store Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon to place an order. Have a credit card and expiry date ready.

* Barnabe's YIG in Perth, call 613-267-6763.
Have the grocery order written down (ideally in the way the store is shopped – produce, deli, bakery, meats, beauty, organics, paper, dry and can goods, dairy, frozen). There may be substitutions. Carebridge staff and volunteer will deliver the order in one week.

Grocery delivery is also available via volunteers in Smiths Falls. Call 613-706-5500 Tue, Thu 1 pm-4 pm. Deliveries will be made Wed, Fri 1 pm-4 pm.

Volunteers: for the Almonte program, email Jeff Mills at jmills@carebridge. For the Carleton Place program, email Jerry Flynn at Include your name, address, cell number and how you’d like to help (taking orders, shopping or delivering), as well as your availability.

Meals on Wheels: operational on Mondays for delivery within Almonte and Carleton Place. Available to seniors who are unable to access the Your Independent Grocer Delivery Program and do not have family members/friends who are able to shop for them.
