Description (Service) | Promotes the appreciation, preservation and conservation of Canada's natural heritage * encourages investigations and publishes the results of research in all fields of natural history * supports and cooperates with organizations engaged in preserving, maintaining or restoring environments of high quality for living things Leads walks for its members with speakers * slide show presentations on request to non-member groups such as churches, senior citizen homes, Scouts and Guides, etc. * the public can visit the Fletcher Wildlife Garden, located on the east side of Prince of Wales Drive, between Baseline Rd and the Arboretum The Macoun Field Club for Young Naturalists is supported by the Ottawa Field-Naturalists' Club |
