Description (Service) Francophone association for parents of dyslexic children and other learning disabilities

Provides information to parents and professionals about learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyspraxia, dysphrasia, attention-deficit disorder (ADD)/attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)) * teaches and supports parents and francophone educators * encourages early detection of learning disabilities in order to assure that each child has the tools to succeed * informs about the symptoms linked to the different forms and levels of dyslexia and attention deficit with or without hyperactivity * explains the different teaching strategies and adaptive methods that can be used to help students at risk * advocate for the participation, engagement of parents in their child's education
