Description (Service) | Program distributes tools for safer smoking and intravenous drug use, and supplies for safer sex * confidential, anonymous and non-judgmental support and referrals to related services available. NESI Drop In: pick up harm reduction supplies, referrals for medical walk in, advocacy and accompaniments to courts, tribunals, etc; support in a non-judgmental environment, coffee, peer support, computers and long distance phone calls available * individuals can also grab a five pack of stems or fits from the reception or medical walk-in. NESI Van: delivers harm reduction and sexual health supplies city-wide to individuals and picks up used supplies. Foot Outreach: outreach and peer workers are out on foot throughout the week in different neighborhoods to distribute gear. NESI Peer program: for individuals looking to make a healthy connection with other peers who use drugs * every Thursday, the peer program compensates four peers for two hours of work * work ranges from preparing smoking and injection supplies and gear, workshops and/or gardening * call in each Thursday at 1 pm to put your name in the draw to work * Women's Breakfast 3rd Wednesday of the month |
