Description (Service) COVID-19 (23 April 2020) COVID-19 online chat and text service launches for Ottawa women living with violence and abuse available. Text with Unsafe at Home Ottawa 613- 704-5535 or Chat online at

The crisis support Helpline for abused women is also available 24 hours / 7 days a week. Call 613-745-4818 (English) or call 613-745-3665 (French) or “Fem`aide” 1-877-336-2433 (a support line for francophone women). Call any of the above numbers if you do not feel safe, or if you are experiencing anxiety due to your partner or are in need of support, resources or active listening.
