Description (Service) COVID-19 (24 Mar 2020) RRCRC Food Bank service update for the week of Mar 23-27, 2020. Services will be available by appointment only for residents of Rideau-Rockliffe (postal codes K1K, K1M and K1G). Call 613-745-0073 ext 206 on Mon Mar 23 1 pm-4 pm, Tue Mar 24 9 am- 11 am, Wed Mar 25 9 am-4 pm. All are to respect the social distancing. 
 
COVID-19 (19 March 2020): This food bank is closed until further notice * residents from this catchment should access food through Partage Vanier or Gloucester Food Cupboard * temporary emergency pop-up hamper program set up at the Ottawa Food Bank warehouse location * temporary location by appointment only: call 613-745-7001 in advance (between 8 am-4 pm) to make appointment * appointments to pick up hampers to be held on Friday, March 20, 9 am-1 pm at the Ottawa Food Bank (1317 Micheal St) 
 
Food program * clients may make one request per month
Hours Wed 1 pm-7 pm, Fri 9 am-11:30 am 
Thu 1 pm-3 pm for seniors 65 years and older and people with physical challenges
Areas Served Ottawa (City of)
Boundaries Overbrook, Forbes, Castle Heights, Carson, Manor Park, Lindenlea, Rockliffe, New Edinburgh, residents with K1K, K1M and in some cases, K1G postal codes
Eligibility Residents within the service area
Application Clients must bring proof of their address and identification

Always inform the callers of this possibility. The clients should provide their address to ensure they are oriented towards the right resource. If you are unsure of a referral, call the Food Bank.
