Description and Services
Description (Service) Supports people across the disability spectrum and their families through a number of programs:

Matching Program: one-on-one, long-term matches between a volunteer advocate with a child, youth, adult or senior living with a disability

Lifetime Networks: aims to build a self-functioning, committed network of individuals around a person living with a disability and by doing so increase the capacity of parents/caregivers * see separate record for details

Person-Directed Planning and Facilitation: a process to develop a good life for someone with a disability * focuses on helping a person to discover their dreams and aspirations, and then to develop a plan to reach their goals, based on their strengths, interests and abilities

Funding Brokerage: takes care of the timely and professional maintenance of the individualized funding received by individuals

Fetal Alcohol Resource Program: provides community capacity development across multiple sectors of service providers, along with clinical support and service navigation for individuals with FASD (or suspected FASD) and their families * see separate record for details

Family Education Series: for parents/caregivers of individuals who are living with a disability * provides information and support for them to plan a good life for their family members * a space for people to connect, share and learn

Sibling Groups: support to children/teens (6-17 years) who have a sibling with a disability * facilitator-led, therapeutic groups providing an opportunity to connect with others, share resources and discuss common concerns with others who share similar experiences
