Description and Services
Description (Service) Youth employment initiative * work experience and on-the-job training for First Nations and Inuit youth to assist them in pursuing long-term employment in the housing industry 
 
Housing internships available to First Nations and Inuit youth who have an eligible sponsor * on-the-job training must be related to housing activities (housing administration or office positions, construction, renovation, maintenance, client counselling)
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Ages: 15 year(s) - 30 year(s) 
 
Youth must be Aboriginal, between the ages of 15-30 and must be currently unemployed. Priority will be given to youth who meet this criteria and face additional challenges such as being a single parent, having low literacy level, or having a disability.
