Description and Services
Description (Service) In partnership with the Department of National Defences, this national organization aims to develop in youth the attributes of leadership, engaged and active citizenship and physical fitness, all within a safe environment. 
 
The following four major components collectively contribute to achieving the aims of the Program: 
* Corps Program 
* Regionally Directed Activities 
* Cadet Summer Training Centre (CSTC) Program 
* Nationally Directed Activities 
 
Army cadet activities include: 
* Expeditions 
* Navigation 
* Trekking 
* Wilderness survival 
* Outdoor leadership 
* Field training 
* General cadet knowledge 
* Drill and ceremonial 
* Community service 
* Cultural education/travel 
* Citizenship 
* Recreational sports 
* Air rifle marksmanship 
* Biathlon 
* Music - military band and pipe band 
 
Note: There is absolutely no expectations to join the armed forces upon completion of a cadet program. It's an opportunity to find out more about Canada and develop new skills, no matter what career you choose.
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age
Application * Contact a local Corps and ask to attend the next meeting. The leader will provide you with the application forms and answer any questions you may have at that time.
