Description (Service) | COVID19 (27 Apr 2020): City hall, including the Payment Centre is closed to the public until further notice. Still offering services via phone and email. Extensive service updates and helpful information available at www.cityofkingston.ca/resident/covid-19 Municipal government administration Municipal Call Centre staff answer inquiries for Utilities Kingston * roads and sidewalks * taxation * garbage, recycling and organic collection * Kingston Transit * parking * parks * Heat Emergency Cooling Centres and other municipal services. Payment Centre: for such services as marriage, birth and death registration * the purchase of transit passes, garbage tags and parking permits * the pick-up of recycling boxes * the payment of tax bills, parking tickets and utility bills. * 24-hour drop boxes located at 1211 John Counter Blvd and City Hall. |

Meetings | Kingston's City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall. * Usually meets once in July and in August. * Call Clerk's Department at City Hall for confirmation at 613-546-4291 ext 1212 or access the City Hall page on the website. Application | To Book city parks, arenas, pools, athletic fields, marina slips and meeting rooms, contact the Facility Bookings Office by calling 613-546-4291 ext 1800 or by email at facilitybooking@cityofkingston.ca. Booking Request Form are provided. Bookings are made on a first-come first served basis * applicable fees must be prepaid. * Any vending on City property must be pre-approved * cancellations must be made at least seven days in advance or full billing will occur * cancellation requests must be received in writing * contact Facilities Bookings to obtain a request form. Payment Centre: Customers are asked to bring the utility bill when making an in-person payment. |
