Description (Service) Provides assistance with childcare fees to eligible families based on family income and eligible hours * eligible hours of subsidized care based on parent(s) hours of attendance in an education/training program and/or hours of employment * subsidized licensed childcare programs available to residents of the City of Kingston and County of Frontenac 
 
* The City of Kingston's Childcare Programs Division administers funding of childcare programs including General Operating funding, Wage Subsidy Enhancement and Special Needs Resourcing * a list of subsidized licensed childcare centres in the City of Kingston and Frontenac County is available on the website or by request
Hours Mon, Wed-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Tue 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Eligibility Residents of the City of Kingston or of the County of Frontenac
Application Anyone requesting a subsidized licenced childcare space are responsible for registering on “The Centralized Childcare Registry Information Services” (CCRIS) website at www.kingstonchlidcare.ca to secure a space for their child at the centres of their choice * if a parent needs assistance in registering their child on CCRIS, they may contact the City at 613-548-3535 * when a subsidized childcare space is offered to a family, the Childcare Centre will forward a Confirmation of Space form to Housing & Social Services, Childcare Programs who will contact the family to schedule an appointment to determine the family's eligibility
Languages English ; French - childcare available ; Interpretive Services - can be arranged - available for subsidy appointments. * Inform office of need when making appointment.
Fees Parent Fees for subsidized childcare based on the provincial Income Testing formula
