Description (Service) COVID-19 (26 Mar 2020): Due to COVID19, groups, workshops and programming is postponed until further notice. Appointments will be rescheduled or conducted by phone, unless deemed urgent by provider(s). 
Diabetes education program for adults with Type 2 diabetes * led by a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, the program includes individual assessments, a five week group session covering all aspects of diabetes management * snack is provided * follow-up support group is offered * occasional classes run in the evenings

Meetings Program runs in a 2.5-hour session per week for five weeks * offered three times a year

Eligibility North Kingston residents with Type 2 diabetes * greater Kingston residents may be accommodated as space is available
